My Stuff is Here!!!

Pirates did not seize the cargo ship!

In other words - my sea shipment has arrived and been delivered.

Let me tell you the horror stories that I have heard since I have been here.

 - its taken 6 months for 'my' sea shipment
 - 'my' sea shipment got held up in customs.
 - 'my' shipment is in another country and awaiting for the vessel to     load up.

. . . . . .and a few others.  Now you can see where I am SOOO glad that it only took 2 months to receive.

I followed my ship - MOL COMPETENCE - on the Marine Traffic sight.  http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/details/ships/shipid:372322/mmsi:311007300/imo:9339662/vessel:MOL_COMPETENCE

When I 'saw' it sail past Africa - my imagination took the best of me.  Queue in the pirates.  Given how the lives of the hubby and I are quite comical - it would have not been surprising if it happened .

But the good Lord blessed us.

The Call
We got the call from the movers here in India - they need us to be present as they open our container and move them from one to another 'more India traffic friendly' container.  It is during this time that we need to tell them (they more or less just open boxes themselves that are labeled as such) of all our electronics.  Apparently -the newer they are there is a duty that needs to be paid.  It is during these times where my 'cheap skateness' comes in handy.  Our electronics are not the newest model, resulting in NO duties for us to pay.  YEAH!!. . .or should I say. . .Boo?

Kuddos to my moving friends - Sharon and Victoria at Champion Movers!!  They kept us all updated and were so calm in the process.  'One' needed 'calm' when 'one' moves across the world!
